On Wednesday night, officers were called to investigate an unusual carjacking in Glen Burnie when a group of minors got a taste of their own medicine after pulling a knife on a woman who did not go down quietly.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, officers were called to the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway when a woman was in the parking lot of the Giant grocery store when four or five boys approached her demanding cash and a ride into the city.

Police say that she initially refused, at which point one of the assailants pulled a small knife, pushed her in the vehicle, and ordered her to drive to Baltimore.

Then things got a little more hairy for the minors.

Once they arrived, the woman brandished a knife of her own, causing the juveniles to scatter like cockroaches in the light as they fled from the vehicle.

No injuries were reported, though the incident remains under investigation.
